General Summary/Overview:
Plans data collection, and analyzes and interprets numerical data from multiple sources and applies statistical methodology to provide information for statistical analysis. Presents numerical information by computer readouts, graphs, charts, tables, written reports or other methods. Describes sources of information, and limitations on reliability and usability. May analyze and interpret statistics to point up significant differences in relationships among sources of information, and prepare conclusions and forecasts based on data summaries.
Compiles data and computes statistics for use in statistical studies. Compiles statistics from standard and add-hock reporting source materials, such as production and revenue records. Compiles and computes statistical data according to formulas developed and presented in Physician Profiles and Statistical Packages.
Performs in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures. Follows the facility's standards for ethical business conduct. Conducts self as a positive role model and team member. Participates in facility committees, meetings, in-services, and activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares comprehensive statistical reports according to presentation requirements; participates in preparation of data summaries and statistical results, for publication.
2. Formalize analysis plans and reporting specifications relating to interpretation and presentation of statistical results.
3. Participates in the development of new insurance mandates and communicates changes/updates to Management/Staff.
4. Uses a variety of statistical methods to gather, analyze, and interpret research data.
5. Formats data, and develops and prepares reports, charts, tables, and other related documents and graphics.
6. Oversees the design, documentation, and implementation of various systems and applications for periodic and ad hoc financial and statistical reporting.
7. Compiles and analyzes financial information from all components of the organizational entity, and develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentation utilizing complex spreadsheet and database applications.
8. Analyzes, designs, documents, and implements internal financial reporting systems and procedures for the organization or business entity.
9. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
10. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
11. Compile month-end reports.
Associate's degree in a field or discipline is preferred. 1 ? 3 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is required.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Ability to plan, create, program and manage complex statistical computer databases. Requires the basic knowledge of statistical analytical techniques, ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources, and ability to work with others to produce reports. Apply statistical techniques to assist in the reporting and trending of health care utilization data and clinical reports. Skills in the use of database management, word processing, and spreadsheet development.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
